About the position

The Client Relation Officer (CRO) is responsible for identifying and developing new clients, while building and maintaining strong working relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, continuity of service, and long-term engagement. The role focuses on understanding client needs, supporting effective service delivery, and acting as a key link between clients and the organization. The role also requires representing the organization in a professional, ethical, and consistent manner at all times.

General Description

Duties

  • Identify and develop new clients within the assigned territory.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients.
  • Promote awareness of the organization’s laboratory services using approved marketing tools and materials.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and follow-ups.
  • Utilize designated sales, marketing, and client management tools to plan, track, and report client engagement activities.
  • Support the resolution of client service issues in coordination with customer service and internal teams.
  • Conduct regular client visits to ensure engagement and continuity of service.
  • Gather and share client feedback to support service improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and activities.
  • Prepare and submit routine activity and performance reports.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and industry events as required, representing the organization in a professional and ethical manner at all external engagements.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Sales & Marketing Manager or management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a health-related field such as Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, or Medical Laboratory Sciences.
  • A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years relevant experience in:
    • Client relations, sales, or marketing within the healthcare sector.
    • Medical laboratories, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, or health insurance.
    • Experience working in a field-based role is an added advantage.
