Inside the rise of specialised labs in Rwanda’s health system
Cerba Lancet Rwanda was highlighted in The New Times article on the rise of specialised labs and molecular testing in Rwanda’s healthcare system. Since 2015, they've delivered over 1.4 million tests—including oncology diagnostics, viral load, transplant monitoring, and antimicrobial resistance surveillance—for around 480,000 patients, with ISO 15189 accreditation since 2020. Their work supports Rwanda's growing public lab network, now with 20+ facilities advancing nationwide testing.
