About Us
Who We Are – Lancet Laboratories Uganda
Since our incorporation in April 2009, Lancet Laboratories Uganda has grown to become the leading provider of private diagnostic pathology services in the country. As part of the esteemed Lancet Laboratories East Africa Group, we are supported by a regional network with strong quality oversight rooted in Kenya, South Africa, and Europe.
We participate in external quality assurance (EQA) programs with a body called Thistle and NHLS (National Health Laboratory Services SA) in which we have all our departments covered: Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Coagulation, Microbiology and Flow Cytometry. At every step, from collection to result delivery, we uphold global standards of accuracy, professionalism, and care delivering diagnostics you can trust.

Since 2009, Lancet Laboratories Uganda has delivered reliable testing across hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology, supported by Thistle and NHLS South Africa partnerships. We empower patients and providers with timely results and convenient payment options, including cardless transactions for easy access.
ISO ACCREDITATION
To deliver consistent quality to every level of our business, Lancet Laboratories Uganda adheres to the highest international criteria set out according to ISO Standard 15189:2022. Our quality assurance team works hard to achieve and maintain accreditation throughout its structure.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
We are offering a wide range of safe and accessible payment options. We are making payment process simple, convenient, and secure for any patient.
Cash
Cash payments are accepted at all branches. Patients can request tests without a doctor’s referral.
Mobile Payment
Available at all branches, allowing patients to complete transactions quickly, securely, and conveniently via Airtel and MTN. These cashless methods offer enhanced reliability and ease of use.
Insurance
Insurance is accepted with a doctor’s referral and request form. We will obtain pre-authorization from your insurer and contact you before services are provided.
