General description
The Client Relations Officer will support sales and Business development Team in generating business.
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities Sales
- Sell/Promote Cerba Lancet Uganda services as per the assigned target set.
- Meet set quantitative and qualitative targets
- Identify our customer pain-points and ensure that these are escalated as appropriate to ensure resolution
- Identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services.
- Adhere to the steps outlined from the selling skills tool.
- Organize appointment and meetings (e.g. CME’s, Round table meetings etc.) with all the various healthcare ecosystem staff.
- Ensure that there is a return on investment in sales activities
- Develop a territory action plan to execute with proficiently on the agreed upon targets.
- Submit timely sales and revenue report as per my stipulated guidelines i.e. Every week or as advised by the immediate manger and / or head of department
Marketing
- Promote marketing communications related to the various services we offer through the marketing material provided.
- Build & maintain relationships with key employees among our customers.
- Track and monitor the customer needs throughout their journey.
- Act as point of contact for compliments and complaints and manage appropriately.
- Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms i.e. (SLA) Service Level Agreement.
- Attend company sponsored events such as doctor conferences and meetings.
- Contributing to the development of marketing strategies.
- Gather competitor intelligence from available industry reports, public information, field reports, and relay the same to immediate supervisor to inform company tactics.
Business development
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Advise clients on creating profitable business by advising on the policies around our Service Level Agreement’s.
- Ensure business continuity is carried out if there is a reassignment of territories. i.e. Co-ride with fellow CRO for proper handovers.
Other
- Maintain or update business databases to ensure correct and accurate information.

Qualifications
- Minimum holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Bio Chemistry or Science related degree
- Relevant experience.
- Class A Driving Permit
- Minimum of 1 to 2 Years Relevant Working Experience in Similar Role
- Willingness to work upcountry.
